Artist Statement

I have always been fascinated by change: how we continue to evolve and adapt, how our happiness can fade and rekindle, or how family and friends blossom or may at times fade.  Capturing the mercurial in lines and textures offers a way to view the world and connect with the unknown.

I work in lines and textures to explore the transitions we encounter in our daily lives. My work focuses on the inner dynamics of change, its layers, direction and motion.

Change permeates our lives. It is a quiet whirl of motion that can grow in volume and force, or simply fade into a whisper.
